Missouri Community Service Commission's

Annual Awards Banquet on Service and Volunteerism

Show Me Volunteerism Award

The Missouri Community Service Commission was established in 1994.  In addition to awarding monetary grants to qualifying applicants for the purpose of administering AmeriCorps Programs, we also like to show recognition to some of the citizens who serve and volunteer to make our state a better place to live.  We know that there are many many folks out there who are doing great things and that it would be impossible to capture all of the great things that are being done.  However, we like to at least say "thank you" to a small segment of the volunteer and service community by recognizing them during a celebration set aside for that purpose.   If you know of an outstanding service participant or an outstanding volunteer and you would like to nominate someone for an award listed below, you can obtain a nomination form the Show-Me Award, Service Awards, and the MLK Award by clicking on the link or by contacting the Missouri Community Service Commission.  To obtain nomination forms and other criteria for the Governor's Youth Service Awards or for the PVSA awards, click on the link or contact the MCSC.
