Dana M. Hardy

    Dana Culp-Hardy is a native of Springfield, Missouri and a graduate of Central High School but has resided in St. Louis for over 30 years.  Dana has one daughter named Marika who is presently working for the Division of Youth Service and attending school in her spare time.  Dana attended Florissant Valley Junior College where she received an Associate of Arts and Science in Human Service in 1992.  Then Dana continued her education at Lindenwood University receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology in 1994 and then completed her Masters of Science in Human Service Agency Management in 1996.  Dana is also a graduate of CORO Class 41 Women in Leadership May 2003.

     

    Kingdom House a neighborhood social service agency that has served residents in the near Southside of St. Louis since 1902, employs Dana.  Dana is the Director of the Senior Companion Program that Kingdom House is the sponsoring agent for the Corporation of National Community Service.  The Senior Companion Program have volunteers who are 60 years and older who provide respite for families and companionship to the frail elderly population.

     

    Dana’s current and past community service as a board member or volunteer includes these organizations: Executive Board and Committee for the Arthritis Foundation, Executive Board Autonomous Care Management, Executive Board Rebuilding Together, Breakthrough Coalition, and Minority Advocacy Coalition and is an active member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church in St. Louis.
