Located within the MO Department of Economic Development, the Missouri Community Service Commission connects Missourians of all ages and backgrounds in an effort to improve unmet community needs through direct and tangible service. The MCSC serves as the administrator for AmeriCorps State funding in Missouri by awarding monetary grants and providing technical assistance and support. The Commission's vision is to strengthen Missouri Communities through volunteerism and service. We want to thank all of the citizens in Missouri who stepped up to the plate and made a difference in your community by becoming involved in service and volunteerism. Thanks to you, more of our children are receiving a better education; less people are homeless; communities are able to recover after being hit by a disaster; and, less people go to bed hungry at night.
